It’s 2 months into the new year. Do you make new year resolutions? I don’t. Well, I usually set intention to do certain things in the future, and that can happen at any time of the year, not just at beginning of the year. More often than not, many people tend to break their new year’s resolution as if that terminology is jinxed! And sometimes the failure to meet new year’s resolution leaves people feeling disappointed. Instead, I set good intentions, which doesn’t have to result to failure if not met. Instead of “resolutions”, I set more realistic goals… and those goals automatically go on “to-do” list, no negotiation!

Well, all that rambling just to note that it just so happened that in January 2024 in the 2023 year-in-review post, I said I would finally introduce myself (intention)… and as days turned into months… here we are, a year 1 month and some days later… I finally wrote it! I hope that by sharing a little bit about myself, we’ll be better acquainted. I’m also interested in your story – how your love for travel began. Drop a comment or send me a DM, I would love to know more about you!

2024 was a year of changes that required us to make adjustments to accommodate, so the time dedicated to traveling and blogging reduced significantly. Moreover, except one, all of our other trips last year were international, so they were longer trips; hence, fewer due to limited time off. Besides a few weekends spent at the local beaches, we managed to:

  • be amazed by the beauty and culture of Portugal in March
  • relax in Puerto Rico when summer began
  • soak ourselves in the sun in Pensacola, Florida and celebrate American Independence day
  • be mesmerized by the magnificence of Switzerland in the Fall
  • be adventurous in Utah as we explored the national parks
  • spend Christmas holiday and ring in the new year in Asia

We have definitely added a few more pins on the map as globetrotters, and I intend to share with you stories as wells as tips and recommendations for these destinations.

Traveling is an accumulated passion. The more I see the world, the more I love to explore. For me, the fun doesn’t just start when arriving at the destination; it begins from the idea, to the planning, to packing and then making the trip itself. I want to share a private conversation between me and my co-worker….

I hope the above conversation gave you a little laugh! It’s an honest picture of who I am, and my friends know it! So, the same question this year… and any year for that matter: how ready am I for my 2025 trips?!! Always ready!! (Even though I have just returned from my Asia trip in mid-January!!! LOL) And as our days of adventures continue, we’ll take you along with us. So stay tuned!!
