Even though posted on the very last few hours of Prime Day in July, I received positive feedback. Therefore, I have decided to share a few more deals on the travel essentials that I personally find helpful, that are being featured today and tomorrow during Amazon’s Prime Day event (Oct. 8-9).
Comfort in the Air
Neck Pillow – After much research and have tried several neck pillows, this is my current travel neck pillow and I’m loving it. Not exactly compact, but it comes in a fabric case that I can attach to my backpack. The bag is washable, so I can just toss it anywhere during the trip and wash it when I come home.
Tip: how to attach it to your carry-on bag/luggage? Remove the neck pillow. Attach the fabric case to your bag/luggage by looping the string over any handle. Then put the pillow back in the case!
Bluetooth transmitter adapter (UGREEN) or YMOO Bluetooth transmitter & receiver) – Not all entertainment systems in the plane have a bluetooth transmitter. If you’re traveling in Business or First class, then this is not needed as you are provided with a nice bluetooth headset. For the rest of us who travel in economy, you’ve provided with a wired headset, which can be uncomfortable since the wire can be inconvenient to move around. This adapter allows you to use your bluetooth headset, airpods, etc. Note that this gadget can be used with other devices like your TV, and not just on the plane!
Airplane pocket organizer – Raise your hand if you have forgotten something in the front seat pocket only to realize after you have deplaned?! Me!! (and other people in my family. Let me name a few items… glasses, iPad, headsets, phone charger…) This organizer helps to keep all of your things together, so you can just pick up when you prepare to leave. Organization is one concern, the other would be hygiene! Who knows what has been stored in the seat pocket?! Ideally, you can use any pouch you have. But this one has convenient pockets to keep things organized and a flap to tuck in the seat pocket.

Luggage Accessories
Compression packing cubes – You are welcome to try the other packing cubes mentioned in my Personal travel gadget recommendations for Prime Day in July. Or, you can try this one, which also has more than 21k reviews averaged to be 4.5 stars. I personally have packing cubes from 3 different brands, and each has its own features.
Travel jewelry case – I truly believe that the accessories make the clothes! You can easily glam up a plain outfit with jewelry and accessories. So either wear a set that is suitable for the outfits on your trip, or if you’d like to change them out per outfit, then carry them in a protective case like this one.
Luggage/Travel cup holder – Drinking tea or coffee is not just for caffeine needs, it’s more like a culture now! I find myself holding a cup of Starbucks (not sponsored here haha) every time I’m at the airport. This cup holder helps to free your hand to hold other things.
Phone lanyard – Some mobile phones are just too large for the pockets, so I find this phone lanyard quite handy. The phone is safely hung around your neck and available at your fingertip, allowing easy access to answer phone calls or capture beautiful photos on the go!

Laundry On The Go
Travel laundry bags – As shared in my 10 Personal Packing Tips, I recommend washing clothes during the trip to avoid having to pack too much clothes, and also to prevent odor to get to the clean clothes in your luggage. The most convenient way to store dirty clothes to bring to the laundry room at the hotel is in these laundry bags. They are made of durable plastic so you can put wet clothes without worrying about water dripping on the way to the laundry room! The bag also helps to keep your luggage from the soiled odor. Not only for travel, you can use these bags as the laundry hamper liner at home as well.
Unscented Laundry detergent sheets – If you are sensitive to fragrance or have sensitive skin, then this fragrance-free laundry sheets are ideal for your travel laundry needs. It comes in a mini box of 40 sheets, convenient for your trips a few times a year. If you prefer a fresh fragrance one instead, then I previously recommended one from Earth Breeze, which I personally use as well.
Waterproof wet dry bag for swimsuits – This is super handy especially if you go for that last dip in the pool at the hotel before heading out to the airport. This is ideal for anything that’s wet or damp.

Personal Care
Flushable wipes for kids and adults – Toiletries in some countries/areas may not be readily available. This is true for many Asian countries today. It is advised that you bring tissues and your own wipes with you. These individually packaged wipes are convenient to carry in your bag or pocket, and is safe for both kids and adults.
Mini manicure set – Don’t know about you, but my nails always break at some point during the trip, either from handling the suitcases or other activities. So I always carry at least a nail clipper and a nail file with me. A small scissors and tweezer are the necessities in my make-up bag. So instead of having all the tools scattered all over, this mini set contains everything you need. This set says it’s for men, but I personally see the difference; it’s unisex!
There are a lot more travel essentials being featured or discounted during the Prime Day event. These are only a few of the items that either I have personally used or am considering to buy to make my travel experience more comfortable. I hope to share these items to help yours to be as enjoyable as well!
